magic4virgo
 Well, I just joined this group today. Was looking at the birthdays and almost...almost didn't give this site a try. Remaining cloaked sort of speaking. Anyway, I don't believe anyone is more addicted to playing RPG's than me. Oblivion is OUT of Sight and just too much!!! Yeah, right, I'm an "old" hippie and have loved every minute of it. My grandkids think I'm kuell cause I play stuff like they do. They even like to watch me kick butt. The sword is my weapon and I try to put it where it hurts so good. I'm a sneaky little devil too. Magic ambush works for me too if it's trolls (hate em) or orcs. I read some where they had a thing going about you know you're addicted to Oblivion when..... Well I knew I was when I was getting up a 3:00 a.m. to play. Sorta scrambled my brain and I wondered if there were others my age that had so much fun with RPG's. Anyway, guess I better go take my Geratol (hehehe) 90 proof. Just kidding! ttfn
ninja_lord666
Strange...an old guy plays video games...has hell frozen over already?Any-hoo, you *claim* to be addicted to video games, yet you talk about how much you love Oblivion. While Oblivion is technically an rpg, it has been agreed by most people that Oblivion is, in fact, an action/adventure game with a splash of rpg. True rpgs are games like Baldur's Gate, Morrowind, or the classic D&D.Besides, no one loves rpgs more than I do. I hope you enjoy GS!
Jonlissla
Strange...an old guy plays video games...has hell frozen over already? Actually, the profile claims that 'he' is in fact a 'she'. So instead of "an old guy", I would rather say "an old lady". Still, welcome to the forums! And don't worry, hell hasn't frozen over yet. Maybe tomorrow, but not today.

I just naturally assume that most people on a gaming forum would be male.An old lady playing video games? wow...

I'll not belabor the point of what an rpg is or is not and would not dare disagree with "most people" as they are supposedly an authority on subject. I've played all that you mentioned plus quite a few more. Started by playing D&D Darkmoon (well, I think it was D&D) plus all of the others, Eye of Beholder, mentioned because you may be more familiar with this series of EOB etc. since they are somewhat later games. They were real real gems though, right? They got me hooked. Oblivion has them all beaten hands down and I'm glad you love em too. Thanks for responding. :P

Dunna know. By the way, in the "good old south" where I'm from, spam comes in a can too. Hope to be talking to you again.
