The Mystery of the Bug Jars - An ending for the great game of Skyrim

Not so much a mod request as it is a mental experiment; lets face it, I've not got the chops to do this, let alone most of my other bigger projects; I'll work on it for about a week and then never open the CK again for another 6 months while I play Xcom or Warframe.

And messing with Hex in Xcom is a nightmare.

I came across a few reddit threads detailing the mysteries of the Bug Jars; and that they apparently pointed to several different things if you decode the runes that are labeled on the top. I found the Ritual theory my favorite, and enjoyed how it detailed that activating it. As such, I modified a bit of it, creating a possible idea for a quest in Skyrim. Originally set off by discovering a mysterious note that offers incredible riches and power to those who complete the ritual, one would go down a complex quest in a battle with a daedric lord seeking to exert his dominion over Mundus.
Each of the bug jars (Bee, Moth, Torchbug, Dragonfly, Butterfly) has a few runes on its top. using translations, I have derived that each of them corresponds to a different location.
  • Need Horse Lake - Whiterun, symbol of a horse for the map marker. Also, if you intersect the lines on the map from which dragons can be found, they collide very near to Whiterun Stables
  • Need Human Lake - Morthal, similar to Mortal, which could represent humans. Also, Vampires /need/ /humans/ as a food source, and there is a vampire preying on Morthal
  • Day Need - Dawnstar, dawn star, like the sun. Day, Need.
  • Giant Ice Sun - I believe this to be Winterhold. it is the farthest north of all of the holds, and at one point contained the Eye of Magnus, a “sun” of magical energy.
  • Need Hail ____ - Being unsure of the last word I assume this to be Windhelm as it is cold there, and that may relate it to hail. Windhelm is also a destination for refugees from Solstheim, which experiences hail and ash storms from the eruption of the Red Mountain.
“Now that shows the outer areas, and as I was looking at this I realised that it was in the shape of a circle, and if you connect the cities, it made a pentagon. Now, I looked at the pentagon, and at the center of each line, there was something interesting. First was Skyborn Altar, Second was Shearpoint, Third was Mount Anthor, those are all area's with dragons, so it was easy enough to figure those out. I assume once all the dragons are dead, the last place you would go is the Tower Stone, which is said to give you the ability to unlock expert locks or in our case the answer to our puzzle, but that left one more location; Mzinchaleft. Now I was unsure on how Mzinchaleft fit into the picture here, but after doing a bit of research, I discovered that Mzinchaleft leads to Blackreach, where I discovered the fight with the dragon Vulthuryol. So that solved that, Kill the 4 dragons and activate the tower stone.
The last piece of the puzzle is where to go, where is the center of this circle? well a little bit of exploring lead me to the Waynon Stones, and if you have ever been there you should know what it looks like. If you haven't been there, it is a circle of stones with a statue of Talos with a dragon coiled at his feet, but most importantly there is an offering table across from Talos.” - Reddit User Poptartburnr
Now this explains the shape of the ritual circle, but now for the process.
Before you begin the process, you must have all daedric artifacts, an amulet from all of the 9 divines, and a single unenchanted weapon of your choice. You will also require Bolar’s Oathblade and The Staff of Chaos.
  • Step 1: First comes the crests of blood. There will be a certain target in each of these five cities; their finest warrior, their most talented mage, etc. Beings with powerful souls. Kill them, and trap their souls in black soul gems.
  • Step 2: The inner Pentagon. The dragons must be enough to suffice for each point in the inner pentagon, and the Tower Stone unlocks the ability to use the transmutation circle. DO NOT use these souls!
  • Step 3: Now with the ability to use the circle, shouts in these cities corresponding to the instructions on the bug lids:
    - Whiterun: Animal Allegiance (Need Horse Lake)
    - Morthal: Dragonrend (Mortal, Finite, Temporary. Need Human Lake)
    - Dawnstar: Clear Skies (Clear the skies to call the sun. Day Need)
    - Winterhold: Ice Form (Giant Ice Sun; eye of Magnus, giant tidal wave destroying the city, coldest place in Skyrim)
    - Windhelm: Storm Call (Effects of refugees and Red Mountain eruption. Need Hail ____. Least clear of all clues. Possibly wrong. Last word is untranslatable/unknown as of yet)
These shouts correspond to the seals on the bug lids for each one, and should be cast directly on the dead body from step 1.
  • Step 4: Head to the Weynon Stones and place all the bug jars on the altar. These will act as your sacrifices.
  • Step 5: Use Auriel’s Bow along with Bloodcursed Elven Arrows shot at the sun to activate your transmutation circle. You will be blessed with _______, but you have opened a doorway for Peryite to enter our mortal world, and thus begin his afflictions anew.
END OF PART 1:

Part 2:

TL;DR: You dun f*#@ed up son.
All NPCS are now set unessential, and new named bosses are present in every hold except Markarth and Solitude, which are last bastions of defense. Peryite is now in the world. There is an infection spreading throughout the world in the form of deadly mist that turns all NPCs who walk through it into ghostly spirits that attack on sight. All NPCs are set unessential and can be killed. You must now use the Daedric Artifacts, the Divine Amulets, Bolars Oathblade and the Staff of Chaos to forge a weapon that might possibly be able to slay a daedric lord and banish him to his home plane.
First you will need to go to Markarth, where humankind is still surviving the onslaught of Peryite. You should help the defenders there defend their home. You have an option to turn yourself in, giving yourself over for punishment to the jarl, but the Jarl will order his men to arrest you for setting Peryite free. He will relent after a moment, and charge you with an oath to undo what you have done; if you do not, everyone will die anyway. You should help the defenders by doing quests given by the captain of the guard until Peryite himself comes with a swarm to overtake the city. You are tasked with carrying word to Solitude, the other last bastion of mankind even as Markarth is overrun.
Now in Solitude, you are tasked with reaching a small island named Caecilly Island to the north of solitude where lives a man named Chimere Graegyn. After speaking with him, he’ll direct you to the Skyforge, saying that only there can you forge a weapon that can battle Peryite. After forging a weapon of your choice there, you come back to him with that weapon, and he will direct you to the Atronach Forge where you place all the Daedric Artifacts and all the Divine Amulets along with Bolar’s Oathblade. You must fire the Staff of Chaos at the center of the Atronach Forge in order to summon an extremely powerful Black Spirit wielding a modified Blade’s Sword with a special enchantment. Once you kill him and retrieve the newly enchanted katana, you return to Chimere. He asks you to kill him with the Katana, and then disenchant it, placing its enchantment on the Skyforged weapon you created earlier.
Keep in mind that while you do all of the above, you’ll not only be fighting ghostly husks of former humans/mer, but also daedra from Oblivion; both the animalistic ones and the humanoid ones, and the atronochs.
Now with your Godslaying weapon in your hands, you have only one last tool left to do. A note on Chimere’s body details the day of Peryite’s summoning, when he is able to move back and forth through the worlds. On that day, 9th of Rains Hand, you must return to the Throat of the World, fire another Bloodcursed Elven Arrow into the sky, which will summon Peryite. Only your godslaying sword can damage him.
May the best man win.
Once he is killed, there is only one way to truly undo what has been done. You must read the elder scroll in the Time Wound; you use its power to turn back time, creating a DragonBreak in time, returning the world of Skyrim to before you ever began the ritual… but still with your Godsbane weapon.

Not really looking for modders to work on it (most of the modders who even DO bigger projects have moved on to F4 and DD), more like looking for ideas, anything. Might turn this into one kickass fanfiction or somesuch thing.
