My FUCs are Resisting Helmets

...man, I can't find a pic on this computer...

For some reason the helmet on the gif avatar is locked down solid, idk what I did different to get that to happen...

I'm making Feline Urban Commandos, maybe into a companion, depending on how things go.

I got a simple tube around the cat and it stays put like any armor should. Today I tried to add the dog helmet to the cat because it was suggested and it should be simpler to accomplish than making the geometry myself.

After being scratched for a while, I spawned 14 cats and saw varying levels of armor drift...

Now I'm thinking it can be a few things:

Cat skeleton isn't boned enough to take armor mods...?

Dog helmet, even though copied bone weights off cat body reference still needs some type of manipulation in Nifskope like a bounding sphere or something...?

Cat animation is buggy and it's unsolvable.

Idk

On the upside, I resolved my texture issues:

@chucksteel This IS lore friendly. Who knows how seriously developed cats would become in 400 years and lots of mutagens? After I learn to rig well enough, I'm gonna make standing cats take over a fallout shelter.

Look at grumbly cat, he's the cousin of grumpy cat and he'll wear armor too, but for now he says it has to look cool or nothing:

Unfortunately, my aesthetic eye is evolving faster than my ability to model what I want, so there's been delays...but I'll blame my laptop being unstable...

Oh crap! That's apocryphal though, it doesn't come from Bethesda...

I think reading is so 20th century, but I'll consider it.

Hmmm, for a time I argued about the last Star Wars movie was not cannon, just about a girl holding her big stick, which I think said more about JJ Abrams than women he never ever touches.

I liked the story of NV alot, and actually played it over twice to see what would happen with alternate endings. It was the second game I ever completed after Freelancer. Yeah, Freelancer, that long ago. Awesome game, though will I live to see Star Citizen ever really released? idk.

No it was written by Chris Avellone. He worked on the original Fallouts before Beth owned the IP so if your saying it's not cannon because Beth didn't write it. Well it was cannon before Beth cannon.

Edit and yes Chris Avellone worked on NV but he was also involved with FO1/2.
