a few ideas that i would love to see

there are three main things i would love to see in fallout NV and FO3

first of all -

duel wielding two handguns, two 1h melee weapons, 1 gun 1 knife or other 1h melee weapon. this would make combat more interesting and diverse. Not to mention two power fists would be bad ass in melee.

secondly-

The ability to target different body parts in melee vats. i miss this very much from the original fallout games. Power fist to the kneecap.

and last but not least-

the ability to target npc's groins. I know this sounds messed up but hey you could do it in the original. Nothing is more satisfying than shooting someone in the groin that more or less raped you companion. also that sick bastard cook-cook has it coming

All of these things are apparently incredibly hard if not impossible to do in the engine, from what I've been told.

I too REALLY want the option to target body parts in melee VATS (and can't fathom why it isn't there in the first place), but was informed that it's next to impossible due to the fact that all melee weapons would have to be coded as guns, and then they'd be limited to a single standard attack and no power attacks (because guns don't have power attacks).

Lots of people have already asked about dual wielding and got shot down with the answer. It's possible to do animations that simulate dual wielding if you're good (like skycaptain of Oblivion fame) but you can't do actual dual wields.

please stay on topic if you want to talk about your stuff make a new topic don't shanghai mine. Also i hate pure pwnage the show was worse than the Zelda game on the Phillips 3do console

So it wouldn't be as easy as changing it to gun and lowering the range to say 1 or 2 then huh. I take it making additional targets on the body would be even harder than that. I guess in that respect the original fallout game will always be better

there isn't really any point trying to make dual wield happen in Fallout, not just because it would be really hard to code in and even then probably impossible to hit anything with, see anyone and may even screw up the game a lot. Why do people keep asking about dual wield?
