Dovhakiin
How is this going to work exactly is it going to be like google earth where if you zoom in close enough you'll will be able to see the streets through a birds eye view or more like street level view either way it sound great.and about how your able to look at an item you have and rotate it that sounds so amazing I want to learn more about the menu interface of skyrim. runforitkyle
Making 3d menu models sounds like a s*** of a job for modders. For every new item you need two models one for in game and one for menus. Edited May 11, 2011 by runforitkyle
Moja
Making 3d menu models sounds like a s*** of a job for modders. For every new item you need two models one for in game and one for menus. I would expect the menu to use the same model as the game... I have a hard time seeing Bethesda needlessly doing double work on item modeling. InuyashaFE
I could see them... probably doing that, but I highly doubt they'll do it for all of them, only for items that need detail, such as items that are needed for puzzles. It was said you'd have to look at an item to figure out a puzzle in one of the quests.
Moja
Well if you consider how the character screen looks in Oblivion, where you can rotate your character 360 degrees, I'd think it would be the same thing. Hopefully they'll add Z axis rotation too, but it shouldn't require extra models or textures.
