RH_IronSights - FOSE issue

Hi I'm new here, I recently got Fallout 3 and I have started a game, I am just outside vault 101 and I tried to install the RH_IronSights - FOSE mod, I followed the instructions but when I try using my weapons(only 10mm pistol and BB gun) not only do the iron sights not work, but the 10mm pistol also continuously flashes whenever I have it out.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

Second, this may sound silly, but do you have Fose installed? If not: Get it here: http://fose.silverlock.org//

Third, you do have ArchiveInvalidation right? If not: Get it here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944/

Both of the above program are needed to run the ironsights mod.

 

Also, you may want to Download and install Fomm (Fallout Mod Manager) Get it here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640 (very handy when you use a lot of mods)
