nibblesonnails
when ever i enter the workshop my game crashes. when i uninstall all of my mods the game runs fine but when i add SettlmentKeywords.esm i no longer have my stores in my workshop icons an when i add ArmorKeywords.esm it crashes... then when i only load the mods that don't use those to it crashes. but when i load just SpringCleaning.esm there's no crashing when i open the workshop... this is vary perplexing. yes, i have added the ini tweaks an gone through the nexus forums... nibblesonnails
...an gone through the nexus forums... And you didn't stumble upon this guide / ruleset? yes, I have seen an done all the steps on your forum that is why i started this forum.I have gone through an up dated everything and deleted some mods. i have also read all the mod's pages. honestly i have been at this for three days now i'm not ever sure what started this prob. the last mod i installed was nanosuit 5.0 on Feb 10th an it worked fine i even did some settlement building. i did shut down my pc that night cuz win 10 has been wanting to update.i do agree with wax2k on the form an stopped using SSEx i have also disabled the working planters.Along with removing shadow boots from my game folder //that was the only mod that was installed manually//i have made sure that my ini files were not updated by steam and are still in read only mode.I may try what Gambit77 suggested but i'm a little leery about messing with other ppls mods so before i do that i'm do what grumpyhouse suggested.if you have taken a look at the txt file that is provided you will see that i have gone through and organized my load order too the best of my knowledge as well as using the load order diagram you have provided as a guide, i must be missing something somewhere, I just cant find it an having second pair of eye's mite help in rooting out the prob. thank you for making that forum by the way. it's most helpful in setting a guide line for the loads. note: this is happening on all of my save's.its late so in the morning i'm going to go though and visit an read all of the mods pages again to see if i missed something. wax2k
And you have double-checked on every single one of the possible CTD causes as well? It's easy to miss an additional Fallout4.ini in the \Fallout 4\data folder or a conflicting interface mod. And judging from your description, it could also be meshes not being found or even not being where they should be. AWKCR for example requires the following two files to be in \Fallout 4\data\meshes\AWKCR: AnS_Armorsmith_Workbench.nifWeaponsmith_Workbench.nif If they are not in that folder or if your Fallout4Custom.ini doesn't have the two lines for archive invalidation or if it gets overridden by another ini being in the \Fallout 4\data folder, the game tries to load these meshes but can't find them and it will crash on the Workbenches menu. And many other workshop mods also require their custom meshes with the same outcome if they aren't there or the Fallout4Custom.ini isn't configured correctly or is being overriden. And to avoid misunderstandings: when using SK and SK incorporating mods and everything is installed and configured and ordered correctly, the Stores menu is not in the main workshop menu, but in Resources / Stores.
