A note about earlier bounty post

Btw, The Ogre zombie is easy. You just give an ogre the Dread Zombie Shader effect, which gives it it's sickly aura. That alone makes it decent enough. Combining others would give a good effect. Or, you could size a zombie so that the ratios are equal (Big chest-torso area, big legs, big arms, regular head). Either would be fine.

I gave number 9 a shot for the fun of it.

I also recently found a method I can use to do 8 and 11. I'm also giving 12 a try to see what it looks like. I've always wanted to try a mirror..

Here's what I have so far on 11. Where should I put more detailing on it?

Excellent, #9 looks good! Nice touch keeping the stair ender in, so it can be reused for if/when it interacts with an outer staircase {:-)

For the #12 first part, what it needs is for the triangle to be thinned out a lot, so that the gem is visible on both sides. Also can the gem be made so its height and width are roughly equivalent, so it is more circle than teardrop?

The middle bit surrounding the gem should really be paper thin, and the outer border area should ideally be around the same thickness as the gem, maybe a little more but not by much. The triangle itsel, I cant see what the corner angles are, but I think it would work better being about half way between where it is, and equilateral. I don't think it is far off, but I think that that would help.

As for the design, I would be happy with either it made of stone, possibly with inscriptions of some kind around the edge of the gemstone, or gold or bronzed (even dwemer style would work now I think about it). I am happy with anything like that. Even just basic stone of the same kind that makes up the pillar would be just fine. Whatever floats your imagination {:-)

How's that look? (Gemstone isn't shiny due to this being in NifSkope at the moment, and not red yet either)

Edit: Annnd just managed to delete it by accident. Starting over...

Edit: I've been working on the mirror. Getting the gloss to look right is proving difficult.

It looks okay outside.

But when you place it indoors, even in a dark environment, it looks like this.

I'm looking around some and it seems that shiny objects glow regardless of their emissive color when they're angled right. Here's a regular flawless diamond in a perfectly dark spot.

Oops on deleting the triangle! That was really good too! That would be exactly what is needed.

I see what you mean about the mirror when inside. Unfortunately this will be the exact environment of the mirror, a darkened room. Is there hope for it, or do you think the best chance lies with settling for more just basic metallic?

So I've got most of it done. I found that leveling off the tops of the fort walls is possible, but I'm unsure if it would be even enough to tile. Only thing is that mirror on a column. I've been playing with trying to get it right, but nothing is working. Do you want me to send you the stuff sans mirror now and send the mirror later when it's worked out?

As for making it work, I've found that almost all gloss levels emit some amount of light. I can give it a texture with some sort of special gradient on it to make it look like it's shiny, though.

Yes if you could send over the stuff so far that would be great!

As for the mirror, if it ends up being too much hassle, Im more than happy to have something that is just mirrorlike, so a square of metal. It will look enough like a mirror based on its location in the grand scheme of things that the world won't end {:-) It is way more important to avoid the glow than have it reflective.

Thanks!
