ICMCMXCII
Hi everybody , im new to this forum.I played all the bethesda gamebryo games but never used the editor until the dlc of fallout new vegas were delayed. My ability to mod is very basic, but my first mod idea was to make an ownable house because in my opinion theres a lack in fnv.I love the oblivion style player housing .My first idea was to make a house using a cell without interior , then make premade interior and change it a bit (furniture basement added marker etc). After finishing that im more ambitious now and thinking about making 5 or 6 ownable houses buyable through a real state vendor. The houses will have different locations a wide range of commodities and prices(e.g. pure water baths, vault included, radio , safe etc)Every house will have a key and a marker that will be activated after purchasing the key. Do you think its a good idea? its useless? already made? etc, Any feedback its appreciated , thanks
laochra
Seems like a good idea, as long as its worth the players while to buy them.
chucksteel
I personally don't use player home mods but, I do like the fact that you want to make the player buy them. Most player homes are just free places packed full of loot. If your idea is somewhat realistic and, not containing every unique weapon I would try it. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif I will say, if you want to make it then you should! Don't worry if its ben done before or, even if others want it. You should be modding for yourself, if others enjoy it thats all the better. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/laugh.gif You should mod for yourself firs, user feedback is important but, should be secondary to your own desires. If you only try to mod for others you won't have much fun. I say go for it. chuck

So the prices will be something ranging from 8000 to 20000 or 25000 depending on your barter skill. The real state building could be located in freeside because its a good commercial place. I want a huge banner sign like silver rush or the atomic casino but i dont know how to model the meshes or whatever you need to mod , if anyone can help let me know, thanks.
