Unable to trigger mod downloads

So, I've been trying to download a few mods, specifically for Fallout: New Vegas, but also for Dragon Age and Oblivion. I've used this site before on this computer, and I used to be able to download the mods with no problem.

 

Now, however, the pop up that is supposed to lead to a download page turns up blank, and there is no download. I click the file name I'd like to download, and I get a white, blank, no-address popup page, and it won't go to the download prep page at all.

 

Attached below is what I see when I click on a file to download it.

I did that, and I still get only the blank popup.

Maybe its an incompatibility with your browser then. I'd try a different one.

 

Also, to get the attention of the site host better, I'd ask the question here

I used FireFox before and now, and I'm leery about other browsers, but I'll give it a try.

you are using some add-on to cause this.

It might have been an addon. I went and updated what I could and deleted things I don't use anymore, and now I can initiate the downloads.
