RebelOConner
EDIT by LHammonds: Topic closed by request of the OP. Helloi have, since some days, a strange issue in game.a lot of white dots, moving very quicky on the textures, also visible in the CS. it's only on some of them, like doors and walls, and only indoor, and i don't have any textures replacer.i have tried to backup the texture BSA( i have Steam version) but it seems it doesn't work either.i have also tried to install unpacked textures( unpacked a while ago ) and the issue is still here.is there anybody who had the same issue, and anybody who has a solution to fix?i would prefer to not reload the whole game by steam, it will take days. stars2heaven
I have never witnessed this and it's cause does not seem apparent to me by looking at it. So I guess first thing is first. What is your load order? Also, does this problem persist in a new game in which you have no mods loaded? When did this begin? What sorts of things did you do recently before the problem began? Did you install or uninstall any mods? Did you do anything else....anything at all? (doesnt matter if it seems like it isn't relevant, this problem looks very odd and so it's cause may not be obvious)
RebelOConner
i have tried with a new characters, it's still the same thing.i have few mods actually, mainly my own mods and some fix mods ( unofficial patch for example)but i don't think it's linked to the mods and the load order, as i have the same thing in the CS, with only the master file loaded.there's also the fact i didn't play for two weeks, and before i hadn't any issues.i'm afraid now it's steam which had corrupted my game. i saw a message box yesterday " oblivion is now downloaded" or something like this. Telyn
Steam gives me that message a lot and I think all it means is that you have always update turned on. It has never caused me any noticeable problems. Did you do a Windows Update or driver update during that time you weren't playing? I am wondering if something messed up your graphics drivers. RebelOConner
after some tests, i saw similar problems with portal 2, so it's more a steam issue. i'll try on steam forum. thanks for your help
LFact
What about non-Steam games? If they show same symptom, it can be either graphic driver problem or graphic card problem.
