Installing Mods Help!

So I've been attempting to mod Fallout 4 for almost a month now, with almost no results. Let me explain.

My first attempt was a complete disaster, as adding only two files caused my game to CTD on the loading screen. The second attempt was much better since I did a manual drag and drop sort of installation, but I noticed some mods weren't even working, and after entering the crafting workshop screen, I CTD. Now, my third attempt, after so many weeks, I've gotten some success, adding simple mods such as WET and Vivid Landscapes, but the moment I add mods that use AWKCR, or even CBBE, my game immediately crashes on startup/entering the workshop screen.

I'm completely out of ideas and I have no idea what else to do. I've looked everywhere for a solution to my problem, as well as a tutorial on modding in case I'm not doing things right.

Could someone help me out with this? My purpose, if not made clear, is to figure out what exactly is going wrong, since mods that enhance landscape, change skin textures, even the Legendary modification mod works fine, but the moment I add mods that run off of AWKCR or CBBE, my game immediately starts to crash. I have no idea what else to do.

Please let me know if there's anything else you guys need.

Mods that depend on other mods have to be below these in load order. If you install your mods manually, sort them accordingly in your plugins.txt. If you use NMM, sort them in the plugins tab. Files that miss another file as master will be shown in orange, if the file is there but not above them or in red, if the file is missing completely.

Can you help me with the mod order of just two mods? I'm attempting to use Settlement Keywords and AWKCR, but even in the right mod order as soon as I go to my workshop, and specifically crafting benches, the game CTD

EDIT:

I ended up having to install it manually, since NMM wasn't installing via the manager.

So update on the situation, it turns out the issue isn't at all my Fallout 4 modding. It's Nexus Mod Manager. For some reason, when I install a mod using Nexus Mod manager, the manager doesn't even install the mod properly. It simply creates the files that are supposed to go there, but sadly, no files are put into the empty files. For example, I downloaded the Homemaker mod, and opened up my Fallout 4 Data files, only to find that every single file associated with Homemaker was empty (i.e. In Architecture > Homemaker > Any of the next files, there will be no .nif file)

Is there some way to fix this?

Happens either when having installed Fallout in on of Windows' standard "Program Files" folders or when having NMM's virtual mod folder on another hardrive than the Fallout installation. The first case should be solved by launching NMM with admin rights and then installing the mods. The latter case might be solvable by enabling and using the "Multi-HD install" approach in the Virtal Mod Folder settings which also requires NMM to be launched with admin rights beforehand. But since I don't use that, I can't tell you if that helps or if you better should have both on the same harddrive in that case.

So, I've run it with Administrator programs like you said and it worked in terms of installing the mods, but now my game automatically CTD's whenever I try to access the workbench. I currently only have three mods downloaded: Settlement Keywords, AWKCR, and Homemaker.

Do any of these mods conflict?
