Skeletal Mesh Import Issues

So I've been messing around with the tools and trying to learn Blender and I figured I would start by trying my hand at modifying a mesh. I extracted the muton and opened it up in Blender and added in a cube which I messed around with until I had something. I've tried attaching my additional mesh to the muton mesh, and I've also tried keeping them as seperate meshes with my new mesh rigged to the head bone. I'm just not sure what it is that I've managed to mess up on. It imports fine as a static mesh, but when I try to import it as a skeletal mesh I just get the "Import Failed" message. So I know it has to be something related to the skeleton, but I'm just not sure what the problem is. Does anyone have any idea of what the problem might be?

I have had some problems with that too.

I would suggest u read capnbuns tut for modding props in as he shows you how to export from blender and import to the game. Other than that I would try to not have more then one mesh in one fbx. The fbx exporter in blender adds bonename_end to every last child bone if u don't check the specific box in the exporter (when exporting hats that does not matter cause the game ignores them, but maybe that messes something up in ur case).

I've been going off of capnbuns tutorial for the most part. This is my first actual attempt with Blender so I know that I'm bound to mess up somewhere, but the whole fixing things is what's really getting me as I'm not sure what needs fixing and what doesn't. I guess I'll try to join everything together into one mesh and then rig it up. Maybe that will import. If not I'll take a break and wait until someone much better than I manages to figure it out and puts up a tutorial.
