This one could be cool, and maybe they could add in a new PIP-boy (model 3000-H perhaps? could even use the Holo-PIPoy mod that's on the Nexus.) that has a holo-projector built in to make the holo-companion make more sense. It could be something you find in the Sierra Madre.

Id love if the holocompanion could be made unkillable on hardcore mode.

Maybe not so much unkillable but just.. unlosable. Like, if the companion dies, you need a fission battery or something to recharge your holo emitter, And maybe you take a little damage when they die due to 'Holo emitter feedback' or something (Whatever floats your boat)

I HATE losing mechanical companions because they run off to fight a pack of deathclaws by themselfs as I try and snipe.

I have one in Skunkwater Gulch.

You have to steal her emitter from its owner. After that it is a wearable item, like a belt buckle. When you equip it, she appears, when you unequip it, she disappears. She is invulnerable like holograms should be, but she costs an electron charge pack to summon, and also uses them up when she attacks enemies with here holo-holo-rifle, so hopefully that keeps things balanced.

Where would one find your Skunkwater Gulch?
