yunage
The Kerbal Space Program modding community lost a key mod hosting site a short while ago, which up until recently was found at kerbalstuff.com. Is there any chance Nexusmods could negotiate with Kerbalstuff to manage their database? There's already a nexus page for the game, but not much in the way of content. JimboUK
Anyone can create a site for any game simply by uploading a mod for it, go to the homepage http://www.nexusmods.com/games/? click files and then add a file, on the next page you're given an option to add a new game, put in "Kerbal Space Program" and then carry on adding the file as you would for any other game. bben46
There is already a Kerbal mod section on the Nexus. It has been there for quite a while, but not many mods. http://www.nexusmods.com/kerbalspaceprogram/?SirSalami has made an offer, but the Kerbal people seem to be more interested in whining about how unfair it is that the site was shut down. Most seem to be clueless about what is actually needed to run a mods site.It seems that the company that made Kerbal has some kind of deal with Curse to host mods and that site was not supported by them. Possibly a trademark violation shut them down.
SirSalami
We're definitely reaching out to the KSP community to see how we can help. Thanks for the heads-up yunage! As much as I'd like to sway the KSP community myself, any support you guys can provide in regards to getting some new KSP authors here would be much appreciated! https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/45w3eb/kerbalstuff_is_shutting_down/d00rymxhttp://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/132286-the-nexus-and-ksp-mod-authors/
