Truchses
Can raiders or hostile scavengers be changed to settlers and be sent to a settlement?
Ethreon
Maybe you can find something useful here.
Jasemyne
No, that's impossible for the time being, at least not w/o fooling the game concept with certain console commands that change the faction of the target and thus the behavior to some extent. However, you can temporarily pacify and thus control them at gunpoint if you've got the relevant perk that turns the target into a prisoner of war, that's all. Truchses
Maybe you can find something useful here. nothing Jasemyne: Yes, fulling around with console command, that was my intention and I am doing it actually. Actually I use the DEF_CM mods from Neanka and DOOM. And I tried the addtofaction commands. No success. I couldn't find any settler faction. So does anybody know with which commands this would be possible? Edited February 17, 2016 by Truchses
Ethreon
Load base game esm in FO4Edit and check the faction records. Maybe one of them is what you need.
Truchses
There are not 4 nor 10 factions but several hundred, and no specific settler faction. And I suspect changing the faction would still not be enough. Thanks, but if nobody knows how to do this, I have to drop this idea or postpone it for much later. I hoped changing the faction to settler would be enough.
Ethreon
It's probably scripting based how settlers get associated. They're not player faction since shooting them turns settlers hostile, so there must be a faction they get associated to.

Klipperken
I actually succeeded in this, but there is a catch: you need to get close to the NPC WITHOUT being detected to manage it.Also this mod can help: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3881/?I use this to experiment. How to go ahead: (commands)TDetectHead to the wanted NPC and select him/her followed by:setconsolescopequest followers1forcerefintoalias recruit01setplayerteammate 1setrelationshiprank player 4setav ca_affinity 1000sifh 1 NOTE: make sure you are ALONE, a companion/follower will fu... dge things up for you.Maybe before anything use the TAI command in conjunction with TCAI.Remember to turn it off again. I made a Gunner join like this, as well as a Sentry bot.I recommend NOT to get a sentry bot, he will drive you nuts!!!
