HiddenLurker
Hey guys! I haven't played F3 for quite awhile now, and I got the urge to play it again. But there are so many great mods! And I cant decide which to use. Now, you might say "Just use all!" but the problem is, previously, I did that, and modding took so long, wasted my time and was so cumbersome that I lost the urge to continue F3. (Happened twice already) Can anyone help? I just need some great mods to improve the game. Since I know most of the game's guns/monsters, I would like more content, oh and most importantly (I can do without the new guns/monsters but not this) the game is too easy. Even on very hard. I need some form of challenge in the appropriate areas. There's no fun in mowing down raiders or robots or whatever everywhere I go. Thanks for any help! And +rep if its possible. BlackRampage
If you want to make things a little more difficult I'd recommend something like Marts Mutant Mod or Fallout Wanderers Edition. MMM: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3211 FWE: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2761 Please note that if you wish to use both at the same time, there are some compability issues. To resolve these, use FOIP: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4968 Also, what I always do, is go to this page: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/categories.phpThen just pick a category, sort them based on the amount of endorsements they've received (in a descending order of course) and see if some of the most endorsed mods are worth downloading, installing and endorsing of course. Otherwise, you could also simply check out the File of the Month section and see what mods have been voted for it in the previous months. Voting a mod a file of the month is the just about the highest praise a good mod can receive after all. As always, hope it helps! Ps: what do you mean with "+rep if its possible"? Kudo's? Ah, perfect. Difficulty mods and new monsters. The only thing i need now is new guns. The rest (sex mods, aesthetic (improve your looks) type of mods, and more lands to explore) is completely..optional, and I dont think I want to install them for fear of losing the urge to play F3 again the 3rd time. Alright thanks man. And yes thats what I meant. Kudos! +kudos to you sir! EDIT: Nevermind! I saw that FWE adds at least 40 new weapons! Awesome! Thanks! Looks like I'll install FWE + MMM + FOIP + DARN UI + WMK + all the other stuff that FWE needs. There wont be any conflict, yes? BlackRampage
Excellent. Good to see you like them. Also, kudos back to you. Edit: Conflicts? No. If you install all correctly and use FOIP, there shouldn't be any problems.Just make sure your load order doesn't give any conflicts. Otherwise, feel free to send me a PM.
