masacrk
have gotten stupid in my old age I think... Tried a few mods was really loving it, had some small problems with settlement but got it worked out. then the 1.3 update happened and now i can't run the game with any mods at all. I only used like 10-12 mods, cbbe body slide, piper makeover, armour keywords and settlement keywords, no sse at all. if i validate my install thru steam i can play the game with no problems. I am up to level 90 and have spent many hours playing. If i try to put in any mods at all even just running thru nmm with no mods installed I get a ctd every time after 10 seconds of play. My question is do I need to delete the data folder and let it rebuild in order to start with a fresh folder? any advice would be most helpful
wax2k
Deleting the \data folder and letting it be rebuilt by verifying game cache in Steam is a sure way to get rid of all custom leftovers from any mods. But it could also be that you're suffering from savegame corruption, so you should also try it on a clean new game. Does "10 seconds in" mean at the main menu before even loading/starting a game, or does it mean 10 seconds after loading and actually being in the game world? masacrk
Thanks, I did see that in another post finally last night I deleted the data folder and let it rebuild and deleted nmm and all folders then let if validate., it would not work on a new game either, I get in just get the character creation screen up to set face and ctd, same in my current saves, i get into the game and would ctd even if I did not move or look around with in 10 seconds.Everything should be clean now and i want to play thru again so I will start slow one mod at a time and see if it works. Will make sure to start with the masters... thank You Again!

masacrk
Sorry to waste time and posting space, but after deleting data and all other associated files then starting over they are working again so far, even in the saved game. Thanks For your and patience.
