Azworai
I've already published a mod on Steam, and am looking to put it on the nexus as well. What filepath do I use to upload? The SDK folder, or? Sorry if this question is silly, the process isn't as streamlined as the single-click Steam version and this is literally my first time attempting to publish a mod in my life. davidlallen
Last time I uploaded to nexus was before nmm. Did you use the "easy file upload wizard" linked on the main files page
M48A5
Go to the XCOM2 Nexus Mods and Community page: http://www.nexusmods.com/xcom2/? Across the top of the page will be a series of buttons. Hover your cursor over the "Files" button. In the drop down menu, left click on "Add a file". Follow the prompts.
Kvalyr
I think what Azworai is asking is which folder of the mod on his/her local machine should be uploaded. When you build your mod in the SDK it outputs a fresh copy of it to XcomGame\mods\[mod name] folder, so you can use that one. Alternatively, subscribe to your own mod and use the folder steam creates in the workshop folder when it downloads your mod. Azworai
I did that, M48A5. I added a page for me to publish, but did not prompt me to upload my mod, nor did it establish which files specifically I need to upload(the SDK pathway or the general game pathway). Thank you. Edit: Uhm... isn't the mod a full folder? It won't let me upload the whole folder and apparently I have to compress the mod? Kvalyr
Yeah you'll need to zip the folder up first: http://www.howtogeek.com/178146/htg-explains-everything-you-need-to-know-about-zipped-files/ Edited February 19, 2016 by Kvalyr
