Broken Steel won't start

[Flopsies]

I have a save right where I enter the rotunda and fight Autumn. I go into the control room, jefferson comes up and everythings spinny, but instead of the two weeks later thing it just goes to the movie.

So? What happens after the movie plays? Does it simply returns you to the control room?

To elaborate: The movie plays at any rate, whether you've got Broken Steel installed or not.

 

Are you using a custom race for your PC? If so, Broken Steel will never start. Well, unless you download this: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6240

You might want to try it anyway, even if you don't use a custom race.

the dlcs are out of order (should be: anchorage, pitt,

broken steel, point lookout, zeta). youre also missing fook2 - (dik) dlc improvement kit

 

probably not the root cause, but it might help. and like rampage said, the movie will play no matter what
