furiousmittens Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 you really dont need a super-expensive card. unless you really get dirty with recording, a 20-40$ card will do ya fine. my pc is a lot like yours but with an 8800gt gpu and all my framerate probs were fixed with a cheap soundcard. now i get 40-60 FPS exterior no problem. MotoSxorpio Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 I picked up an old Sound Blaster Audigy II from amazon.com for 25 bucks....... It is hardware accelerated, which is what you want.
