HiddenLurker
Everytime I press 'Launch FOSE' in FOMM, the game immediately launches and crashes. I can confirm that it is not anything to do with my hardware + FOSE. Because when I switched off all the mods, playing Vanilla fallout 3, it worked fine. This is my mod list, I dont install many mods, so I'm unsure why this is happening. TheDaedricLordOfBiscuits
Hmm... I don't know what the problem could be. But what I suggest you do is look at the readme's of the files (if there are any) and if there aren't any readme's then look at the page where you downloaded the mod, maybe there is a special way to download the mod, or something like that. I had a similar problem, with a mod called the Advanced Combat Armor, apparently when I launch FO3 with that mod it crashes. Good luck, Hidden! Sarcasm
I suppose the first question should be: do you have any .esp's checked that are dependent upon .esm's you do not have checked? This is the only time the game will crash on startup for me. Did you make your personal mod with an .esm you are no longer using?
BlackRampage
Have you tried simply enabling 1 mod at a time to see which one causes FO3 to crash? Also, have you checked your load order to see if there are any conflicts? How do you sort your load order? Have you tried using BOSS to sort it? Maybe there are just 2 mods that conflict. btw: Don't know what your own mod changes, but I wouldn't put it smack in the middle of the FWE esp's. @TheDaedricLordOfBiscuits: eh, there are no special ways to download a mod... only special ways to install it. Edit: To expand on Sarcasm's comment; If your own mod is dependent on 1 or all of the DLC's, you'll have to enable those too of course. Papajack55
There's a way I found out why my game crashed on launch every time- #1- always click each mod starting at the bottom and read the stats on it to the right in the box. If it requires something and even if it's a small one and you don't have it, it's going to crash and not run. Even if you have the mods up and all are in the clear, if you have one mod that needs the DLCS in one order and another mod needs the DLCs in a different order, its going to crash. You can put one mod on that needs the DLCs in order only or it will crash on launch if you have more. Now if you want get this and check with this: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10193 BOSS for FO3 Better Oblivion Sorting Software Made strictly for FO3. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13520 This is Better Game Performance. It takes out over 20,000 useless items not used in FO3 and increases speed in the game. Good luck and Happy Gaming!!
HiddenLurker
OH YES. I KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. Thanks everyone for your feedback! The problem is the FOIP patch. Needed project beauty as an .esm, and I didn't install that mod. Should I install Project Beauty? :x

The game cannot load if it does not have access to the resources you are telling it to load; meaning, if you are telling it to load a patch for a .esm you do not have, the game will not start because it is missing essential resources. Deactivate the patch, or download the required mod and enable the .esm.
