Problem with Better Bodies

I've looked all through the forums, but havn't been able to find a solution. I've been unsuccesful so far at modding my game, and have had to uninstall and re-install the game 4 times now. This time, instead of installing all the mods I want, and then testing it, I'm installing them one at a time and testing in between. I installed the MGE, the Unofficial Morrowind Patch, the Unofficial Morrowind Code Patch, the Morrowind Visual Pack 3, the Texture Fix, and the Bloodmoon Landscape Overhaul. Everything worked after all of those were installed and ticked in the Data Files. Now I'm trying to install the Better Bodies mod. I've selected it in my Morrowind Plugin Manager, and installed it that way. Though, when I start up the game, I get this:

 

Model Load Error: Meshes\bb\bb_skinm_de.nif cannot load file in Meshes\bb\bb_skinm_de.nif.

Will use the default object Marker_Error.NIF.

Model Load Error: Meshes\bb\bb_skinm_im.nif cannot load file in Meshes\bb\bb_skinm_im.nif.

Will use the default object Marker_Error.NIF.

Model Load Error: Meshes\bb\bb_skinf_im.nif cannot load file in Meshes\bb\bb_skinf_im.nif.

There are 3 different sections inside of Meshes/bb. There is a folder named "n" which I assume is for nude. There's one named "u" which I assume is for underwear, and there are some files that arn't in folders inside the Meshes/bb folder. I've tried deleting the different sections of files in different variations to see if that would help. I've even tried deleting all of the files in that folder, and this same error popped up. If I can weed through all of the errors I start on the boat, looking at what is supposed to be Jiub, but it's just yellow nothingness where the textures have gone wrong. Someone please assist me. I would appreciate it so much.

 

If it means anything, I'm running the GOTY edition on Steam. I've used a date changing device, so all of my dates are fine. I'm also using Vista.

It sounds as though Better Bodies wasn't installed correctly. You've got the 2.2 version, correct? And when you executable wanted an install location, you suggested:

 

x:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind\Data Files

 

...where X is your drive letter, right?

 

You're not running this on WIn7, are you?

I'm having the same problem. I downloaded and ran the installer and because I have morrowind on Steam I had to change the morrowind.bsa, tribunal.bsa, and bloodmoon.bsa dates from the current year to some specific date so it acts like the disks. Even after all that when I load my game I get a buttload of error messages and if I hit yes to continue running all the people are big yellow balloons with white "!" in the middle. I've been trying to fix this FOREVER!!!!

Try installing the game outside of your program files or turn UAC off while you install.

I'm having this same problem and yes my OS is Win7.

Hi, guys. You've encountered with such a problem probably because of not registering the *.bsa file. As you can see in the Better Bodies archive there are four files: Better Bodies (NU).bsa, Better Bodies (PG).bsa, Better Bodies (UN).bsa and Better Bodies.esp. First you do is copying *.esp file in Data Files directory. Than you choose one of *.bsa files (NU - for naked both men and women, PG - for naked only women and UN - for both wearing underwear) and copy it in the same directory. Finally download BSAReg app from here http://mw.modhistory.com/download--5212, run it and click update. Have a nice game.
