GLITCHEDMATRIX
I am adding new weapons into the game but for some reason now, the original weapons I modded them from can no longer be placed in my inventory or shows up in enemy inventories. The game thinks I am replacing the weapons even though I game them their own names. What do I need to or not need to change for this to happen? Do I need to copy as new record into... Insted of copy as override? If so, If I already have them as override, how can I change it as a new record without deleting and starting over? Junnari
Override simply changes the values of the existing form, it doesn't make create anything new. To make a new weapon you'll need to copy it as new record and make the desired changes it. You can derive a new form from the override by copying it as new record into the .esp. Does my gamesave have something to do with it? Also if I want to mod a projectile of a certain weapon to use on a new one. how would I be able to assign the new projectile to the new named weapon without overriding the original weapon the projectile was assigned to? TheGreenLion
Instead of doing 'Copy as override into' select 'Copy as new record into'. It'll prompt you to rename the item, then check your Mod in the next box and hit Okay to add it as a new item you can fool with. You might have to collapse your .esp and re-open it to refresh the contents if you don't see what you just copied listed.- I would check out Institute Arc Conversion to get an idea of what they did to get the lightning projectiles as a standalone item. Been trying to figure out how to do this with a Power Fist mod without crashing...lol! O_o
