Game won't start anymore after disabeling some mods

hi there. i'm quite new to modding and the whole nexus mod manager and all that so please bear with me:P

I've installed some mods, and all worked great! Did some quest mods, downloaded a handfull of outfits, all cool!

Now my game kept crashing during the loading screens, so I thought that the mods i currently have installed (not much but what i have, are quite big ones. Frostfall, Falskaar, Wyrmstooth, etc) were simply too much for my old laptop to handle. no problem i thought, i can disable some that i have already completed or don't like anymore. So i went to my mod manager, disabled some mods, wanted to start up my game again, but apparantly s#*! has hit the fan. Right after the Bethesda logo shows up and it should go to main menu, the game crashes. Restarted my laptop, no luck. It keeps doing this and now i'm afraid i have done something wrong...

I have not disabled mods that have a huge inpact on gameplay (like Frostfall) but only some smaller quest mods that i have already completed and some outfits.

Any help is appreciated! :)

Maybe you did accidentally deactivate a file of the original game? Depending on which DLC you have Dawnguard.esm, Hearthfire.esm or Dragonborn.esm need to be active.

Maybe the logfiles says what's going wrong: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2791993

I have the legendary edition so all 3 DLC's are baked in there.

The mods I have deactivated are, to be precise:

-The Llily Armor Mashup (didn't show up in the game anyway)

- Adal Matar - the Lost Stronghold - Fight Against the Thalmor

-Moonpath to Elsweyr

- Destroy The Thieves Guild (Which didn't work properly either. Killed Brynjolf, nothing happened)

And that was it. If what you say is correct, how do i find out if i have? re-activate them one by one? but wouldn't that also re-start that quest/mod?

You could try reactivating them one by one just to see which one is causing your game to not start. But none of those, if removed, should do that. Two things I would suggest: first do you have any other mods that are dependent on the mods you removed (patches for other mods for expample). If the answer is no, I would try reverifying your game cache with Steam.

i thought that the thieves guild quest was the culprit, since it's filed under game play effects and changes. When i re-activated it, it gave a message that a certain part of this mod has already been installed under the Sky Residence mod (that i have installed and not removed). I just clicked ''yes to all'' since i thought it would only replace that what already existed nonetheless. No luck still.

About reveryfying the game cache with Steam... i do not recall even having a Steam account.... could be because my version is... pirated. (yeah go ahead, slap me for it)

But i never had any issues with it before!!

Banned for piracy.

Not trying to be an a$$ but you have a pirated game messed it up with mods and want someone to help. Best help I can give is go pay for it and do it the right way.
