MLeonhardt
I love the new design of the Deathclaws. They look seriously bad ass. As such, I would love to have one of the mythical "Intelligent Deathclaws" as a companion. Lore Wise he could be a descendant of the Intelligent Deathclaws from Fallout 2, could have learned to mimic human speech, learned to speak through a new mutation, or could have been experimented on by someone in the Commonwealth. Raigar would be an extremely powerful Companion, able to shred even power armor clad enemies with ease. Though voiced (by me or someone else) he would still have the trademark Deathclaw roar before charging into battle. Considering that he is a giant monster, most Settlers and people in towns would scream as though he was a wild deathclaw, but not run or attack since he was with the player. Raigar would have the unique ability called "Bullet Sponge" where he has a chance to collect bullets shot into his hide, which the player can pluck out if they have at least 1 point in the Medic, Gun Nut, and Wasteland Whisperer perks. Bullets absorbed are hidden in Raigar's inventory, and cannot be removed except through the "You have something stuck on you" dialogue. I'm trying to think of what his companion perk could be. Maybe a health regeneration buff? Or a melee attack/reload speed boost?
MLeonhardt
Bumping this because I maxed out Wasteland Whisperer and have been taming Deathclaws left and right and have a MIGHTY NEED for a handsome sounding Deathclaw friend. TheWideMurloc
The Fusion City Rising quest pack includes a talking Cryoclaw companion (the blue cryo damage deathclaws). For some reason, though, it's been set to Hidden by the author. Strange, since it was such a highly rated quest pack. I'm sure it will be up again some day, keep your eyes open for it.
