Deleted4610270User
I haven't found any lore-friendly custom brick textures in any mod packs, including Langley's and exShinra's . Both of the packs I mentioned have great high-resolution textures and materials, but notice how vanilla bricks vary and have more detail, but at much lower resolution. Here are the vanilla textures:http://i.imgur.com/OljG9iV.jpgLooks ugly due to very poor resolution, but the actual variety and custom detail + non-tile-based look adds realistic feel to it. Let's now look at HD bricks textures (exShinra's, I think, but not sure):http://d1vnh8mbrp67em.cloudfront.net/screenshot/image/7/d6/290227/3049-7-1448616909.jpgFrom one perspective - AMAZING, high resolution, but also exceptionally identical from one to another, not lore-friendly, not very fitting. Another HD bricks mod (exShinra's for sure):http://www.modsfallout4.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/exShinras-Better-Brick-Textures-5.jpgSame as the other HD mod - nice resolution, high detail, but total lack of variety and lore friendliness! There are also really ugly wall-bricks in The RailRoad HeadQuarters (some Church). They are sooo lame-looking! Could someone just super-upscale the original textures? Some upscalers do an excellent job like the All-in-One 4K Weapon upscaling mod, where upscaled 4K vanilla textures look way better than purely vanilla ones, while other upscalers increase vanilla resolution by 8x and yet their textures still look like crappy pure-vanilla ones... Hell, Fallout 4 textures in general are not that bad if they weren't of such low resolution. If someone could spend time and effort to proper upscale all Fallout 4 textures by 400%, then I'd never bother with any texture mods, but most upscaling mods are crap... Ethreon
Why not spend time and learn how to do it yourself? Gimp is free, and plenty of tutorials out there. There are a few tutorials on changing texture/material specifically targeted at F4 here, so information is not lacking. Also.. "Ugh muh immershun" Sorry, had to.
