Ranokoa
I wanna learn how to texture and mesh for my chain of small mods, i don't even know what programs to use. Im an "ok" modder with what is already in oblivion. Can someone tell me? and also how much they may be? as well as how do i learn to script? Please post answers, or website which may help teach me. If i need money to but programs for these use's i have about 30 to spend. So if there are any for that much to about 0$ PLEASE tell me. These answers will help me drasticaly, and proly ALOT more people who have similar stupidity isues. (Those who deny being stupid, then say ignorant =)) Thank you. Vagrant0
Search the wikihttp://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Main_Page Gimp for textures, Blender for meshes. Though I think blender may cost a bit more than that. Gimp is free though. Regardless, you'll need to spend a significant amount of your time learning how to use both tools alone before trying to do anything applicable to Oblivion. Make use of the free trials for blender. You may just have to deal with what is available to you (like most other modders) or make specific requests for meshes/textures when a rasonably useful project requires them. However you might want to put a bit more effort in presenting clear ideas and what exactly you need since most of those who do offer their time to the community don't like having their time wasted while someone tries to make up their mind and provide decent references. Meaning that if you sound like a 14 year old on a sugar high, people will be less willing to spend their time trying to help you, punctuation makes a difference, learn to use it properly. For future reference, the question has been asked several times before and been answered. You might want to spend time getting familiar with the search feature. Peregrine
Though I think blender may cost a bit more than that. Blender is free, it's 3dsmax that costs a ton. And seriously, take a few minutes to seach before asking these questions. The answers are in plain sight if you actually bother trying to help yourself before begging other people to do it for you. Ranokoa
Rofl, why my puncuation is terrible is because i had a long stressful day and im freakin wasted. My room's darker than hell because the light broke and i have yet to buy another. I did search for tools to use for oblivion texture mods and meshes but have come up with little to no results in the right direction. I thank you for your help on my situation, but do not apprieciate the comments. I am not 14, and i don't believe many 14 year olds are actualy even interested in modding, as most of them just want to play their game, and want to play it now. In other words, they don't have enough pacients for it. Again im sorry for typos and puncuation I am in a dark room with less than fully functional eyes, and am depending on my familiarization with the keyboard to type... Currently im most familiar with the Back Space Button... But really where do you come off: "Sugar High"? Dude whats that supposed to meen? What are you suggesting.. I'm fat or something???? (Aren't most people on comps? lol =P) But whatever. Thanks for the help... I think...
Vagrant0
"Sugar High"? Dude whats that supposed to meen? What are you suggesting.. I'm fat or something???? (Aren't most people on comps? lol =P) But whatever. Thanks for the help... I think...When I read what you right, the words seem to be rushed and frantic, hence "sugar high". I meant no offense. However stressed out, or burned out you may be, when you start with a very long title, and the words "I wanna learn how to" it makes you sound like someone who hasn't put much thought into things, and probably won't any time in the future. It may just be the recent rash of new "I wanna do stuff" type people who have been popping up alot recently which are causing this feeling. Add that to asking a question which could be searched, and the mistake isn't hard. No offense intended.
Ranokoa
Rofl "Rushed and Frantic". How can you get that outa reading? Did my word yell at you? rofl. Ok, well thanks for the "no offence intended" and a good explanation which betters my understanding onto what you have stated. But i still dont understand how you can get "rushed and frantic" typed words... meh, lol. And the long title cause again, as stated above, long day, lota booze, no brain power. Well, thanks for the help

The way I see it, fourteen is a fine age to be interested in computers and their workings. But really where do you come off: "Sugar High"? Dude whats that supposed to meen? What are you suggesting.. I'm fat or something????Vagrant didn't call you a fourteen-year-old on a sugar high, he simply stated that if you sound like one, people will overlook your opinions and queries. To be well received on this forum by people like me, who are many in number, try to avoid such behavior.
