Crashing issues

Hey, for reasons unknown to me my game has broke. I play with a lot of mods, now it simply refuses to load after i was having some serious crashing isssues just south of windhelm.
ANY AND ALL HELP IS NEEDED.

This is the mod list.

Mine crash in College Winterhold right after Revealing the Unseen quest. And what I did was remove all the mods that involves Winterhold (retexture, player homes, extra building, gates). And it worked for me. I suggest you to remove all your mods that involved that particular area if you have any.

 

IMO, Skyrim became more vulnerable to crashes when loading dozens of mods. Some of the mods actually requires you to complete the quest b4 you install it in certain situations. Same thing happen to me. B4 the main Winterhold quest started, it doesn't crash with the Winterhold retex mod enabled. Some mods(even those building retex mods) doesn't mentioned that you need to complete the quests b4 installing it.

 

All those mods I've installed look nice, unfortunately I need to sacrifice them in order to reduce chances of crashing the game quests.

Your game crashes upon load? As in loading a save?

I had that happen for a while, what solved it for me was this:

 

C-Drive/Users/PC Name/AppData/Local/Skyrim/plugins.txt

 

Make sure that in the plugins.txt , both the Skyrim.esm and the Update.esm are there.

 

Sometimes I had 2 Skyrim.esm. Deleting one of them fixed it.

And sometimes the Update.esm was missing. By manually typing it (watch the spelling) the problem was also solved.

 

If both Skyrim.esm and Update.esm are in your plugins.txt something else is causing the crash upon load.

These ctd's can be like a treasure hunt, you have to take it step by step and eliminate.

It doesn't crash upon load. Loading the save working fine for me. Just that particular quest Revealing the Unseen. At the part where Mirabelle asked "Are you alright?". Then, it crashed.
