EightLights
Are you using an audio manager like Realtek's or something? Have you tried another headset? Do you have any mods that affect sound?
dingodave
I've not tried another headset, don't use any mods and the only thing relating to an audio manager would be my Xonar DG audio centre
TonyOQuinn
Never heard of this but I can suggest a couple of things to check. On Windows 7 it's Control Panel -> hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Manage audio devices.Select the playback device your headphones are connected to, click Properties. On the Supported Formats tab, test each encoding and each frequency, disable the ones that don't play correctly. On my system, Skyrim plays back in Dolby Digital @ 48khz.Also check the Levels tab, Balance. Make sure 1 & 2 are the same level.
dingodave
The issue has now been resolved after changing my frequencies. Thank you everyone
