GH108
Hey all. I was wondering what would happen if I used the Fook2 installer (Made for Fallout 3) so that I could access the items in the GECK, and move them into containers to be accessed in New Vegas. What I don't want it doing is breaking the game, or messing up random drops and container contents. Would I be able to install just the items without the .esp stuff? Note that I'm new to this whole modding thing, so most advanced terminology and scripting I won't get...
looloolooigotsomeapples
To just access all of the items, without adding to level lists and with the least conflict, you have to recreate the items in the GECK. This involves a couple clicks and is not that hard, but considering the amount of items in FOOK2 would be pretty tedious. I recommend finding tutorials on how to create different kinds of items, how to create containers, and how to place objects in the world. You need an .esp for new items, there is no other way. Non-esp mods are just about always replacing something.
