Brightwel
Ok, so I just got round to buying the two New Vegas DLCs, and I'm having issues with Dead Money simply because its missing files and I don't know how to get them. I bought and downloaded both DLCs from the Steam store and after they had supposedly installed I checked my Data folder to find that the only DLC related files there were the Sound.bsa's for them, the Main.bsa's and .esm's being totally absent. Thinking at first it was probably just Steam being as incredibly annoying as usual i figured they had been placed somewhere else in the depths of my computer. I then tried to play the game only to find that neither was in the data files and neither would load at all. After updating Vegas the Honest Hearts Main and esm appeared in my data folder and work, but I'm still missing the stuff for Dead Money. So, can anybody help me find the missing Dead Money files either on my computer or elsewhere? Thanks in advance.

Brightwel
Well after sending a message to support and having to wait a good number of hours, Steam did in fact decide to get in gear and update Vegas. Even though it opened two updates, one that took 20 minutes and the other apparently going to take several hours. After the small update had finished, lo and behold the Dead Money files were installed. Though its good that I finally did get it, this incident has done nothing but fuel my intense hatred for Steam. Fonger
like I said "slap it upside the head"
Gishank
Easiest way to fix it is to delete all the DLC related files of the one providing an issue then verify the game cache on Steam. ;)
