My grahics is lagging all the time, worse during combat.here are my specs:core2 E64202g ram320g memory8800gts 320mb550wattswindows vista 32bitresolution set at 1024x768 i had try downloading the latest patch, graphis driver, directx9 but the problem still exist.btw do i need to do any setting in order to activate directx 9? Switch Posted July 8, 2007 Share Posted July 8, 2007 Hmm, I'm not sure, don't have a lot of experience with Vista, though I do hear it can guzzle RAM. It sounds like something's going on though to slow your computer down - either on the software side or hardware side. Maybe next time before you run Oblivion, try pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete and clicking on the Performance tab (er, at least that's how it works in XP, not sure about Vista). Either way it should say somethig about Physical Memory and how much is available. With 2GB RAM it should be about 1,500,000 available (that's kilobytes) or 1.5GB for decent performance in Oblivion.
