Reason for the ban

Piracy of Fallout New Vegas:

 

So, I got the game through a different source that isn't steam. I have nvse downloaded and I have THIS mod in the data folder, but whenever I try to run it, it crashes instantly and says something along the lines of "original exe modified -> executable headers failed to validate" and underneath "an unmodified exe is required, go to steam and validate your game cache"

I'm not using steam and I don't understand how to make it run.

 

You can make it run by using the legit version. Fallout New Vegas is a Steam-exclusive game, which requires that you install and activate the game through Steam. If you had a legit copy, you would not have trouble validating your game cache.
