mod request; sitting down

I find the animation and pose for sitting down quite rigid and unrealistic- it would be great if someone could make a mod to change the animation so that the character just sort of... plops down onto the chain, and make the pose like this; legs open wider, elbows resting on knees, hands hanging between legs, back slightly hunched, head hanging slightly, but looking up

Yeah, why shouldn't people in Cyrodiil have bad posture like the rest of us? :P

Since there aren't many people capable of making new animations, and this sort of thing really doesn't do much to add to the game, and that new animations may create problems with chairs being near tables (without any way to detect it through conditions) I don't see this sort of mod being done. I believe the slowed sitting was to make it easier to accomodate the tails of some races, since you couldn't expect them to sit on their own tail and bethsoft was really more concerned about having one sitting animation for each entry.

If anything needs to be done regarding chairs its moving the first person camra to be the right height, although thats probably not possible either.

Get a mod called "actors in charge", there are lots of sitting animations, at least for your own char.

Try this mod, Ramy has a nice sitting pose as a random anim. Scripts are there too, however they may be in japanese. I don't know.

I just think that they look rather rigid (sorry it took so long to respond), and uncomfortable. i think it's less bad posture, and more about looking comfortable/cool. It doesn't make for good screenies. I would like to take a screenie of my avatar sitting in the throne from the mod "My castle", but he looks all rigid...

 

EDIT: and for some reason, remy's enfant file download has been removed.

(but I think I have it backed up on a CD somewhere (i format and reinstall often))
