malkava
I'm working on a module wich will give some new items to player. Right now my goal is to rescale a dagger model to a sword size. The problem is: it is a completely new model and I can't open it with Adinos' DA Tool. So, there is any other way to rescale an item? Kaldelar
Some file formats cannot be read, I'd imagine. DA uses mesh files for models and unless you convert it to said format, it can't be read. For rescaling, I think Blender should do the trick: copy the original mesh, place it somewhere, rename it (it's just easier), then load the original mesh, rescale it (I prefer hitting the 'N' key in observation mode and just scale the X, Y and Z axises until I reach the same dimensions as a sword has) and then using NewByForge's replacement tool to overwrite the copied (and renamed) mesh file with the one you just rescaled. And that's the limit of my skill :psyduck:
DarkeWolf
Also.... is the files for the dagger packed up into a single file, or are they all seperate files.IF you've got all the files necessary for the DA tool to read..... did you put them all into the same directory that DA Tool is located in? As in the exact same folder that DATOOL.exe is located in? I guess tho I should be asking if the dagger is already in msh format, which the DA game uses.
