Mod Textures not working, Bodyslide and other mods not working

Hi,

 

So my problem is that any texture that is added to the game by a mod is not loading.

 

• Specifically, this and this don't work, as well as some of the True Storms textures. CBBE also doesn't work. As a result, I am just a floating head, Pipboy and feet.
• On top of that, Bodyslide does not work - "Failed to load bodyslideframe.xrc file".
• B.A.E also does not work - "The program can't start because Qt5Core.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

I have followed the instructions on how to set up Fallout 4 for modding.

 

I have added

• "bEnableFileSelection=1"

to my Fallout4Prefs.ini, and I have tried adding both

• "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\"

and just

• "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\"

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all mods, no joy.

 

I would very much appreciate if someone could tell me what the hell is going on, as I have spent a number of hours trying to find the problem myself and have been unsuccessful.

I think you were looking at some outated instructions, perhaps Gopher's old video. That stuff after Final= is no longer necessary. Gopher has a newer vid, with the jist in the description. (note stuff about the Custom.Ini, which you didn't mention aboved.)

it should be:

 

Fallout4Prefs.ini:

 

[Launcher]

bEnableFileSelection=1

 

Fallout4Custom.ini:

 

[Archive]

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

sResourceDataDirsFinal=

 

^ note there should be nothing after the "=".

Ive been having a similar problem where even textures for stand alone weapon mods wont load. ive checked the ini files a thousand times and even uninstalled the game to try and make it work but I can't seem to get it.

I'm in the same situation. CBBE does not work. If I remove all clothing, the vanilla underwear shows. If I use CBBE apparel, I am a floating head. I tried removing all other mods. I even did a complete HDD format and clean install. My ini files are all correct. I have checked and redone them dozens of times. In addition, some of the standalone weapons and armor are invisible. The same for a lot of the craftable items and settlement item mods.

 

Any help or idea are greatly appreciated.
