AceGoober
On PC, pressing F2 to turn surface snap off/on. I turn it off, place the conduits, run the wire then placed the concrete block and it worked.
zanity
This raises the biggest problem with FO4 updates- Beth changing gameplay and engine functions, radically altering the gaming experience. Bug fixes are one thing, but the updates have focused more on 'do-overs' and 'improvements' than bugs. Face it- the settlement system is so laughable inadequate, it is likely that by the time the GOTY edition arrives, there will be little resembalnce between the initial release and final version in this regard. And this made worse by the numerous settlement DLC that Beth will sell between now and then. The whole wiring system was horribly thought out- what about the 'drooping' wires between pylons that players and settlers can 'magically' walk thru? Why do the wires 'droop' when in reality you'd tension the wire or use pins to run it along the wall between connection points. Does anyone at Beth have any common sense? And if your wiring system is so SILLY, why not just accept that players can place wires that go thru solid objects if they so wish? After all, with a little more care, a player can avoid this - so wires that CAN go thru concrete don't have to if the user makes the effort. Beth making the wiring LESS user controllable is wholly negative. Edited March 29, 2016 by zanity
