Beginner facing light problem in GECK

start from 5:38

 

I try to learn step by step about how to use the GECK. When i reach this tutorial, i unable to do as he say by Pressing "S" + "Drag" to light up the bulb. :ohdear:

 

Is there any website that teach or video tutorial, how to use geck that you guys recommended ? ( The GECK Wiki, 70% of page broke down = = )

Your not doing anything wrong. There is a bug with the way lighting is supposed to work in the NV GECK. To see changes you make to the lights you'll have to hit the F5 key, which re-freshes the render window.

 

Every time you move, scale or, change a light in any way you'll see it go dim and, will have to refresh the window to see changes.

Thanks for the it work, just to ask you is there any other way to light up the bulb, like fill in the "numbers" to state how bright is it.... :mellow:

Yes, you can change the values under the "Extra" tab, they will make it brighter or, dimmer depending on the number you add. Also if you hit the "L" key it will show the light radius with green lines giving you an idea of what the light is doing.
