thebeast505 Posted March 4, 2016 Share Posted March 4, 2016 Hey everyone, I bought fallout 4 the day it came out and even back then it had bad performance for me. I quit after a while due to my school work taking up so much of my time and now I can finally play again. However, as soon as I load up fallout 4 fresh install on steam, the game is all choppy, stuttering and just overall bad performance even though I have a good system:I7 6700k16gb Ram500gb SSD w/ falloutGTX 980 so I have no idea what's wrong. I've tried various ini tweaks, vsync but not luck. I have a 144hz monitor but I use it at 60hz just because of skyrim and this game having problems at higher fps. I'm not sure what is causing the problem, I've tried turning settings down but it still has problems so I'm not sure what to try next. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
xlghostlx Posted March 4, 2016 Share Posted March 4, 2016 imho bethesda really wronged this time.. the game sucks!!! can't believe that in the city we can't get over 60 fps and at high, the shadows appear slowly... we are in 2016 bethesda need to wake up!!
