scot
We won't know for sure still we get the requirements but if I had to take a guess, no. At least not at any playable fps. Most likely gonna need an upgrade across the board. Well I can play most games with high settings and with good FPS just not ultra settings, and the differene from high to ultra is nothing sometimes.Today I finnished witcher 2 with max textures settings with AA among other stuff I just needed to disable godrays although it makes the game beautifull and disable motion blur wich actually annoys me, crysis 2 I could play with everything max but with a little bit lower screen resolution wich didn´t affect the graphic quality of the game at all.It might work with skyrim but I want to be able to play it with everything in max settings and with no problems.Still I´m going to get a GTX580 graphic card and if necessary upgrade my PSU to work with it. EDIT:Checked how many watts my PSU has and I think it has 350 watts -.- it will blow my computer with a GTX580 Edited May 30, 2011 by scot
Bloodinfested
Nothing will blow it just will not work the nvida site (minium) recommends a 600w for a gtx580 but on the Guru3D link it stating a (average) system 650watts.If you don’t mind waiting it out before upgrading if skyrim is your only concern the prices might come down a bit.I wouldn’t worry too much about your other hardware take into consideration that skyrim will be on ps3 and 360 hardware wise its not going to be that sophisticated of hardware that ppl may think vs whats on the pc market now of days. Now if they would have waited to make skyrim on the next generation console it be a different story.

I´ve looked for new PSU and probably will buy one with 700 or a bit more, would love to buy the best PSU there is XD but that´stoo much money. It´s not just for skyrim I want my pc to become better than "ps4" and make sure it will run any future games I buy.Though my concern is mainly skyrim and made me realise maybe it´s better getting a new graphic card and PSU.With all this I learned a lot of stuff about computers X)
Deleted1848331User
If you are going to upgrade your computer, do it either just before Skyrim's release, or after. There's bound to be better graphics cards by then, or at least they'll be cheaper. New PCs are made pretty much every month.

I´m not the one for waiting x) but I´m saving money so I have no choice, probably will get the new card and PSU by christmas time.
