Aterr
I'm not sure if this is a spoiler, so I decided not to take the chance... I do not appear to be able to build a bar at the Abernathy farm. I can build all of the other stores, but none in the drink category. Is this something that anyone else has experienced?
CyrusAmell
It's a bit of a glitch, I myself have a small bar in my primary bunkhouse in Abernathy Farm but it took a while to toggle it on. I am not quite sure what I did however. Edited March 5, 2016 by CyrusAmell
kevkiev
I wonder if it's similar to what happens to me at Taffington. Couldn't build a bar at the south end of the boundary, but could if I was more north (ie near the original house). Trouble was, I selected it there and just dragged it over to where I wanted it before activating, but the bartender wouldn't give me any dialogue during store hours (ie not selling or even trading equipment, just random wastelander banter). Might wanna try moving around if it's a similar location thing but, if that's it, maybe make a save before committing to make sure you get the correct dialogue. Aterr
Well it was like you said.. in some places I would not get a the bar items, in other places I would. Finally I just made a level 3 bar and staffed it... now all of the settlers are STILL taking their evenings in the Abernathy house...

I built 4 stores - 3 together just a bit aways from the S. side of the original house (2 kinda over the water) and one a bit south from that:http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh70/diggermats/Taffington_zpsrlauwvuv.png The one farthest back, over the water, (Clinic - kinda tough to see behind the clothing stand) works fine. The middle one (Clothing) and the one one the balcony (Bar) ust gives me "huh" and "yeah", The closest one (Weapons) works 99.9% percent of the time. Really strange. Especially the weapons one - I've used it a few dozen times, but one time I just got the usual wastelander "huh". Like, just that one time, but the odd thing was that when it happened the vendor was kinda leaning to her left. Outside of store hours, though, I can at least trade equipment with all of 'em. Another screwy thing was that I built a bell and put it just to the right of the weapons stand (like, the vendor's left). Oddly enough, I didn't get the option to store it in the workshop after using it. Could scrap it only. Moved it about 20 feet north and the store option appeared. Crazy stuff. @OP - lol, same thing happened to me at Finch Farm. Built a nice restaurant patio in front of a really big new house, and after hours all 15 settlers often just still try to all cram into Finch's little shack. (Ingrates.) Man, that guy has been through the freakin' mill. (Not to mention his family members.)
