Elrond7 Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) My version is 1.9.32.08 + unofficial patch. I am not able to trade items with my follower - who happen to be Sven. Riverwood was the first village I visited so...(I didn't know about Lydia at the time, obviously.)I am lvl 23 and the bug is stll there. All I can do is having to first drop items on the floor and then command Sven to take it (which is tedious, repetitive process). To make things worse, some items are labelled as Stolen (???) in the process - though I did not steal them. (All items on my list are either manufactured, bought, taken or looted.) I CAN take items from my follower, but I can not give him stuff from my inventory (except gold, arrows, some keys and couple of maps and recipes). No weapons, apparel, food, books, ingredients, nor misc. Is there any solution to this issue/ bug/ whatever...?Thx in advance. Edited March 6, 2016 by Elrond7
saurusmaximus Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 It sounds like he is over-encumbered. When you look at his inventory, does he have a large number of one particular item? I've had this issue where my followers do the "chopping wood" animation, and they fill themselves to capacity with lumber. If you don't see anything obvious, try taking everything out of his inventory and see if he will accept stuff then. As a last resort, if none of the above works: open the console, click on Sven, and type invThis will show you everything he has on him, including any non-playable items (which are normally hidden from your view) he may have. If it turns out he has like, 100 lutes in his inventory (or whatever), use removeitem <item id> <# of items to remove>So, to use the 100 lutes as an example, you would type: removeitem 000dabab 100 Hope this helps!
Elrond7 Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately, it does not work. When I click on Sven all I got is dialogue commands.
NexusComa Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Try installing AmazingFollowerTweaks. great mod and it just may fix your problem
Elrond7 Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) Looks interesting. But we all know that some mods can be incompatible with others. So, if that mode prove to cause glitches, can one safely disable/uninstall it in NMM - without unwanted consequencs afterwards (like missing files etc) ?I am asking because I am new to modding. (I have installed upper half of RealVision ENB mods.) Edited March 14, 2016 by Elrond7
