subtlestrike
So, I'm getting pretty annoyed that, upon first meeting, certain NPCs will allow for some specific trading, like the Abernathy girl swapping melons for caps, Supervisor Brown trading in crops, Dr. Penske trading in Fertilizer.Well. It so happens that all of these are involved in quests which alter their states, they become "Oh thank you eternally" eternally, making it impossible to get trades from them (luckily Calvin isn't affected, bless that man), which is something I want to do.Is this situation repairable as of now, with Fo4Edit? Make these folks stop being so thankful for saving their lives?! Edited March 6, 2016 by subtlestrike
dagincourt88
You find "that" annoying? How about when settlers become thankful as soon as you defended it in an attack? It makes it impossible to trade with your settlers once a settlement gets attacked, just because their thankfulness dialog plays over and over again. You have my vote. I hate gratitude too. bben46
The entire dialog with NPCs is a wreck. When you click to try to talk first they have to say one of their stock phrases. Then,if you don't click to talk AGAIN they start to walk away making you chase them down and try to talk again. If you are too slow they repeat a stock phrase and walk away. Now, what am I supposed to do with all this damn fertilizer I collected for Dr. Penske? :pinch:
