Brucelee6790
I just got done doing some really boring settlement construction s*** and then I was running across the top of a car, when I landed on the cement I died like I just fell 100 feet... This set me back about 30 minutes of boring monotonous chore work. This made me think that the game should have a periodic game save. Like every 10 minutes it auto saves. I also took the idea of the auto saving feature of skyrim and thought that every different type of auto save should have it's own slot. For instance there would be an auto save slot for sleeping another for waiting, fast travel, entering a new area and every 10 minutes. Each replacing the previous save of it's own save type. This would be amazing and would basically replace the need for manual saves forever (almost). If even part of this idea were implemented that would be amazing. roamwild
Automatic Quicksaver Mod (an executable), I do not endorse this and I do not use it but it might be helpful for you:http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7986/? Other requests for this with some discussion maybe?:http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3381520-req-autosave-modhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3826240-auto-save-managerhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3684020-auto-save There are a lot of people who want this, or something like it - it's a bit of a no-brainer. If it has not already been done then it will be - as soon as a way is found by whoever wants it enough to do the work. If I wanted to make an auto-saver for myself I would probably use autohotkey to either just periodically send my quicksave key to the game i.e. F5 every 10 minutes... Or I would write a script to enter the console and type 'save save001' with the 001 being incremented each time so i can make separate saves for each "autosave" of the script, on whichever timer I put it on. Authotkey is really powerful and easy-to-use if you are willing to learn even just a little bit of scripting (or find one already written on the Web if you trust the uploader). I just use Quicksave and Manual Save, this is something that has been trained into me after years of playing; important work or actions especially along a quest-line are saved as new. It's quick and cheap, most games I just delete all the oldest saves or leave 3-hour checkpoints.
