There is a mod in the nexus called Custom Vanilla Race, I think. It helped me a lot in creating my custom nord race that I still use. Use body mods and textures that you want of course, like said above. Most importantly find compatibility mods for custom races (scour nexus)...they require maintenance at certain key points of the game. once they are ironed out, it should be no problem.

 

Oh, lol. The mod I said was the one above already suggested, Custom Races. Nvm, use that one.

most helpful!!!! sucks that i need to start a new game to keep my current characters stats from going bonkers when being changed to the custom much bulkier race but i can't have everything i guess. Lol

Character Creation Overhaul let's me make my character super-tiny or towering over everyone else in the game. I don't remember if it does that by itself or if when combined with Alternate Race Menu. (Not at my game machine right now.)

Racemenu mod, you can tweak at any time, anywhere, and it's just a matter of typing "showracemenu" and tweak away. A lot can be customised, including height.

but as far as muscles go its only the biceps. the best way to go for what i'm wanting is custom races and a different body mod like better males. finally got it all figured out thanks to a few posts above. thanks to everyone who shared input. :)

Mod called showracemenu, you can change all aspects race on the fly, your character is reborn, the only little glitch is that you gain a level each time you do it. Just don't use the lore version, you teleport to customization when you cast this spell. Its here on the nexus.
