HomicidalPenguin
First off, I hope this isn't a recurring topic. I scrolled through some of the posts and didn't see anything like this.. Didn't feel like scrolling through the whole thing. Apologies if it is a duplicate. Now, to the issue... I installed NexasMods about a week ago (I don't have consistent internet as I am a truck driver and only get it here and there on the road). I had issues when installing the software, such as moving the files from the program file folder and such. Maybe that is what caused my issue, but when I went to log into Steam and play Skyrim so I could activate NexasMods, my saved files were gone. After a quick check, I found them gone from all my Steam games, not just the one I modded. Any advice?
Lisnpuppy
What do you mean you installed Nexus Mods? Are you talking about the NMM? Or are you just saying you installed mods? If this is so you need to have this moved to the NMM section as this is just the New people come say hello section. Simply report your post (the report button under your actual post) and let the moderators know it needs moved and they will do that for you. This was you can get the help you need. Good luck. bben46
NexusMods is not something you can install. It is a website. I think you may mean you installed the Nexus Mod Manager. (NMM) Which is used to manage mods you download from Nexus and other sites. NMM is not the nexus, but actually just a small part of it, and fairly new as Nexus has been in business for 15 years and the NMM was just introduced in late 2011. OR, you downloaded a mod or mods. Which must be installed after downloading ( this is one of the functions of NMM) And as Lisnpuppy said, the newbies forum is intended as just a place for new members to introduce themselves, each game we support (currently over 240) has it's own separate forum where questions relating to that game can be asked. And the people who answer those questions rarely check the newbies forum for problems to help with. As for scrolling through the entire Nexus forums that may take a few years as there are currently something like several million posts in all of the various forums. I would suggest going through the recent Skyrim technical support forum, and the last few days of the NMM forum. Skyrim forums: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?c=411,419 NMM forum ( open beta feedback) http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/439-open-beta-feedback/
