wiolyna
Hello. I'm a noob, but I've read all the instructions, and installed all my mods via NMM. However, none of the mods appear in my game. I double checked everything, and enabled it all in NMM. Would anybody help a sister out please? Cheers.
Rabbit1251
Two things. 1. Are you using the latest version of the Nexus Mod Manager? (Probably, right?). 2. Have you made the necessary changes to your ini files? If not do this: How to enable moddingNavigate to your Fallout 4 Folder at the following location "Documents/My Games/Fallout 4" Within this folder will be a number of .ini files, highlight "Fallout4Prefs.ini" and "Fallout4.ini". Right Click, select Properties and ensure that these are NOT marked as read only. Open Fallout4Prefs.ini with your favourite text editor (we use Notepad++). Navigate to the very bottom and you will see the line [Launcher]. Directly underneath this, add the following line: bEnableFileSelection=1 Save and Close Open Fallout4Custom.ini with your favourite text editor. * Note that this file was changed from Fallout4.ini following update 1.2 Add the following lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal= Save and close...From the Nexus Wiki:http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation Welcome aboard, Wiolyna, the Rabbit
wiolyna
A big thank you for the help and quick response. I figured I wouldn't have to modify the ini files because the NMM did it all. But I couldn't be more wrong. Thanks so much! You're a life saver.
