For example, number of new settlers, food produced and water generated depends on in-game time instead of the elapsed time. That's why, sleeping in a bed or waiting on a chair for 24 hours won't generate any extra junk, supplies or spawn new settlers. What this mod does, is change the way wait / sleep system works. Instead of teleporting to a set number of hours later, players should instead ease into it by increasing timescale from the default, then setting it back to normal.
