The fort isn't finished. Thats just the great hall. And the black sacrement, ritual to summon the night mother involves an effigy of the intended victim. You use limbs to make effigies, so keeping them on hand is useful. Of course, there will be more rooms which will contain more DB related items, but honestly: what DOES define a DB lair. You can't tell from the screens but there is quiet a bit of DB related texts. I would like to include a statue of sithis, but that would require making the mod dependant on "The Vile Lair" DLC, which contains the sithis statue.

Please don't add thoose silly skeleton guards walking around 24/7 , Firstly there are 10 elite assasins , 4 vamps , secondly it gives the feeling that the stronghold is just a regular sancuary , thridly Gives even more the feeling of necromencer lair. Keep it the assasin way :ph34r:

You should add a complex quest, that I think, sounds really cool, and It will be really hard, even for the best characters.

 

You should make the last quest(of a questline), like this :

 

If you've been doing assasinations for the DB, and help building the sanctuary, you will be asked to do a last task, in which all the 10 elite assasins will co-op in. The mission will be to destroy "the Fighting Guild". The Fighters Guild are watching the DB and have watched it grow. Grow to powerful. Here we can have 4 sets of missions.

 

As Dark Brotherhood:

-option 1: The mission is to defend the Sanctuary, while The Fighters Guild tries to overrun the sanctuary. Here we will fight against all the famous Fighters Guild members we all love(or hate). If you succeed, all the cities Fighter Guilds buildings, will be swapped with destroyed, empty-looking buildings.

 

-option 2: Here you take out one guild at a time, from city to city. This is a mere idea to help you work up quests.

It could be that you meet up with The Fighters Guild of (ex.) "Anvil" at a plain, and duke it out with your 10 elite assasins as companions.

 

As Fighters Guild :

-option 1: The same as with the DB, only switched around(YOU are a member of The Fighters Guild).

This mission is for the last Fighters Guild mission.

 

-option 2 : YOU, as a member of the Fighters Guild raid the Sanctuary.

 

 

And you should make all of the DB-people really suspictious.They don't really trust anybody.

I'm just trying to help with ideas :)

Some of thoose idea's were pretty good others were awful , Firstly why the hell would the fighters guild care for the DB? At all. Why would they raid the sancuary? Why would the fighters guild get destroyed just because they failed an assault? Why would they assault? What happeneds if you are the head of the fighters guild and they all try to kill you? And can't you think a little bit about the fps? This kind of things would kill the fps! Bringing around 10 assasins is impossible , You wouldn't be able to play the game.

Also maybie you could to smaller things like this but not that complex (Thoose things would require a hell lot of work to.) maybie that the legion try to strike but i don't like that idea eaither , Morag tong is attack and they are the main enemy of The DB. But yes your idea's are alright , If you would change some things.

Hello!

It was not my intention to plot a fully finished idea. It was just hints and tips :)

UI will try to answer as best I can.

 

1. The reason why The Fighters Guild would care about the Dark Brotherhood, can be decided by the modder. I just hand out ideas.

 

2. They would raid the sanctuary because thats where all the elite assasins are, and that is a good way to get rid of them all at the same time.

 

3. Please. My ideas where just undone tips.The point, was that unfriendly debate between the two forced one of them to cower.

 

4. I'm not saying that all the battle have to happen infront of the player.... Youc an get messages as you progress on your final quest. Maybe the final quest is to kill the DB leader, and all of the Fighters Guild members help you gain entry to the Sanctuary, and as you sneak deeper into the sanctuary, you get news, like "Right-Wind has just been killed".

I was thinking of the fps, that why I mentioned the plain, with few things, and no grass maybe :)

Yes yes i know it was just idea's.

However let's focuse on morag tong instead of the fighters guild which absolutly doesn't fit into the picture , Another motive for not making an assault on the stronghold from the fighters guild is that the stronghold is just for defense againt the morag tong , The assasins there doesn't have contracts anymore , They defend the cyrodiil borders from assauls by the morag tong on their sancuaries. However yes it an exellent idea to let the journal inform you of an succesfully assasult on the DB stronghold and when you arrive everything is a mess , Bodies everywhere and such. However this wouldn't fit in very well with the scheme , This is just a normal stronghold With a lenghy questline for the DB , But your idea's are most intresting and i might just steal some :) It was wonderful idea's for another lenghy DB expension that i might start to work with when im more familiar to quest scripting.but im not going to use the figthers guild however , It gave me the idea to make The DB in action more after you completed the quest line , Like possible assaults and more sancuaries.

Yeah, I'm just going to come in here and throw the fighter guild tie in out the window. As good as the idea may be, I don't want conflicts with other factions. The head of the DB could easily also head the FG, its just not an option. I've already decided on a morag tong assault, and that's final. The problem is, I don't like my conrades dieing. I have worked out excatly what happens at the end, but thats a secret.
